Sulphate Resistant Concrete CPAC
Details
Slow down the damage of the structure from sulfate with special concrete that has the highest sulfate resistance. By reducing the expansion of concrete due to sulfate, which causes the concrete to crack, the reinforcing steel to rust, and eventually lose its load-bearing capacity. By designing the concrete mixture to have the lowest ratio of water to binder and mixing the right amount of pozzolanic materials, the concrete is dense and resistant to sulfate permeability.
Suitable for concrete structures that must be exposed to environments containing sulfate, such as soil, groundwater, wastewater from households and industrial plants.
Properties
Because the compounds in the concrete that react with sulfate are reduced, the rate of expansion and cracking of the concrete is reduced.
Highly durable, can resist sulfate permeability better than general concrete.
Convenient and faster to pour With rounded particles of pozzolan, the concrete can flow and fit between dense reinforcing steel well.
Usage instructions and precautions
Do not add water to make the concrete more liquid, as this will make the concrete properties not as designed.
The concrete should be vibrated properly according to the standard materials and construction requirements for concrete structures. (Engineering Institute of Thailand) To prevent cavities in the concrete and to increase the strength and durability of the concrete.
Concrete curing should be done immediately after the concrete starts to set continuously for at least 7 days, which can be done in several ways, such as holding water, using concrete curing chemicals, covering with wet sacks and watering it all the time, or spraying it with clean water all the time, or according to the standard materials and construction requirements for concrete structures (Engineering Institute of Thailand)
Structures and buildings or special constructions that may require other appropriate curing methods in addition to this method.
