Underwater concrete CPAC

A special option for underwater structure pouring work. The concrete is designed to have the properties of easy flowing, high fluidity, and can be poured into underwater forms without pumping out water and without having to vibrate. Underwater concrete CPAC has a high cohesive concrete content and high viscosity, which can prevent water washing out and concrete separation.

Suitable for the following types of work:

Structures where the model is underwater and cannot be pumped out of the form, and cannot be vibrated, such as repairing/building a pillar structure or connecting a bridge over a canal or river.

Properties
Easy flowing, high fluidity, can be poured into underwater forms without pumping out water and without having to vibrate.

High cohesive concrete content and high viscosity can prevent water washing out and concrete separation.

Long working time than normal concrete.

Usage instructions and precautions
Concrete transport into the formwork through a Tremie pipe or pump should be carried continuously to allow the concrete to replace the water and push out water to minimize the chance of concrete washing out. If a pump is used to pour concrete, the formwork of the structure must be strong and stable, with a dense attachment. Able to withstand concrete pressure from the pump and pressure from surrounding water. Reinforcing bars used in underwater pouring should be designed with sufficient spacing, no less than 6 cm, to facilitate pouring of concrete and prevent rubbing of rocks in the concrete, reducing the chance of cavities and gaps in the structure.
