Chang Gypsum aims to achieve Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions, winning “Carbon Footprint Labels” for up to 10 products, along with providing green building consulting, aiming to create BUILDING THE SUSTAINABLE HOMES OF TOMORROW
Chang Gypsum, the leader in gypsum board products and innovative gypsum ceiling and wall systems in Thailand, has been certified with “Carbon Footprint of Product (CFP) Labels” from the Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO for an additional 7 products in 2024, from the original 3 products, totaling 10 products (data as of March 4, 2024), paving the way for an organization to emit Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions.

Mr. Anupong Rongluangaram, Managing Director of Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Siam Gypsum Industry (Saraburi) Co., Ltd., said that “The company is the first manufacturer in Thailand to produce gypsum boards that have received a carbon footprint label for products from the Greenhouse Gas Management Organization, which is in line with the sustainable business policy of Chang Gypsum, which has been continuously and for a long time, with the goal of helping to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions (Net Zero) in 2045.”

Currently, Chang Gypsum Board has received carbon footprint label certification from TGO -- a total of 10 products, which is an upgrade of the standard of gypsum board products. In addition, Chang Gypsum Board also helps in assessing the Green Building Standards or LEED.

Chang Gypsum Boards that have received the Carbon Footprint Label include Chang Gypsum Boards, 9 mm and 12 mm thick, Chang Gypsum Moist Block Boards (moisture resistant), 9 mm and 12 mm thick, Chang Gypsum Fire Block Boards (fire resistant), 12 mm and 15 mm thick, Chang Gypsum Echo Block Boards (sound-reducing), 12 mm thick, Chang Gypsum Multiwall Boards, 15 mm thick, Chang Gypsum Glass Block Boards, 12.7 mm and 15.9 mm thick.
